Connection and Hope
From a young age, Lexii (she/her) developed a love for being upside down; her background as a gymnast and later as a dancer laid the foundation for her current experimental movement vocabulary. Lexii trained as an adult in dance schools across Southern California and trained extensively in aerial arts and ground acrobatics at the San Diego Circus Center. As a professional artist, she has performed in amusement parks, theatres, and venues across North America. Lexii enjoys academic pursuits and has a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University as well as a Doctoral degree from San Diego State University. Lexii hopes to continue learning and growing throughout her life: physically, mentally, and personally.

Dancirque Physical Therapy
No two treatments look alike. Dancirque Physical Therapy has been committed to helping artists around San Diego since it was established in 2020. We have worked with artists ranging from teen students to older adults on maintaining their artistry and keeping their bodies as healthy as possible. Our specialty treatment areas include circus ground acrobatics, aerial arts, musical theatre, dance, theatre, vocal performance, and music. We use our in-depth understanding of these fields to target artists as complex individuals with individual needs.
Education of Artists
Dancirque Physical Therapy teaches interactive group classes for aspiring students and seasoned professionals. Students learn about their bodies and how to improve their performance. Topics include balanced training habits, anatomy, rehabilitation exercises, warm up techniques, and post-injury guidelines. Classes an be presented as a workshop or an ongoing course.
